Glynn’s intention was to travel the world. He arrived in Scotland in 2007 but quickly became side-tracked from his travel plans when he set up in business!
Following his father’s footsteps into the industry, Glynn started out as a house builder in New Zealand, moving on to gain significant experience and expertise in large-scale commercial construction. He then moved to Ireland, running a successful house-building company for four years before heading back to Auckland to work as a project manager for a large commercial construction company, as well as various residential development projects.
After arriving in Edinburgh, Glynn had the opportunity to establish Kiwi Joinery in 2007. He has relished the chance to develop Kiwi into a thriving building company, and enjoys the challenges that running a busy business brings.
Glynn is too busy for hobbies at the moment but one day would like to go gold-panning in the Scottish Highlands.
