So, who is Kiwi Joinery?
Kiwi Joinery Ltd was established here in Edinburgh in 2007.  Glynn Robertson set Kiwi up when he arrived in Scotland from New Zealand.

Where are you based?
Kiwi Joinery has an office in Midlothian Innovation Centre, Roslin – near the city bypass.  We also have a workshop in Leith.

Do you only cover Edinburgh?
We are based in Edinburgh and much of our work is in the general Edinburgh and Midlothian regions.  However we have travelled further afield for specific projects, and happy to consider jobs outside our normal area at our client’s request.

What is your expertise?
Glynn has more than 15 years’ expertise in the construction industry, both in the UK and Australasia.  He has worked in all sectors, from residential to commercial and has experience in all aspects of building and construction.
All of our staff are qualified and time-served joiners and builders.  As part of our commercial contracts, all Kiwi Joinery staff are also required to pass High-Level Disclosure Scotland background checks.

I'm not sure of the regulations I need to follow.  Can you help?
Yes, we can liaise with architects, planners and building control on your behalf to ensure your project meets all the regulatory requirements. 
Importantly, all our staff are Health & Safety trained, and we are a member of the SafeContractor scheme.  This means we ensure our sites are compliant with current Health & Safety regulations and legislation.

How can we be sure of the quality of your work?
We can provide details of customers who are happy to provide a reference on our behalf.  We can also take you to previous jobs so you can see the quality of our work in person.

What is your logo?
Our logo is a fern, not a feather!  Our logo draws its inspiration from the iconic Silver Fern, a plant indigenous to New Zealand.  As a symbol, the fern is synonymous with quality and achievement and is recognised throughout the world.
